HyunA says there are ‘more victims of fabricated nude photos’
By Korea HeraldPublished : June 25, 2014 - 18:04
4minute’s HyunA is just one of many victims of fabricated nude photos, according to her management agency.
She is “not the only celebrity (who’s been victimized). On the relevant site (where HyunA’s altered photos were produced), there is a section called ‘Nude Celebrity Composition’ and fabricated pictures of popular celebrities are uploaded there,” an official of Cube Entertainment told Enews24, a Korean entertainment news outlet, on Monday.

According to the news report, there are numerous nude photos of K-pop girl group members and well-known actresses on the website. Moreover, when the site is designated as having “harmful content,” a new Web address is spread via Twitter.
Recently, pictures of HyunA wearing nothing but underwear spread online with the accompanying explanation that they were extracted from a K-pop boy group member’s lost phone. Since then, an investigation has been underway.
“On June 12, one of our officials wrote a police report at a district station. We heard that the investigation has recently kicked off and there will never be forgiveness for the source of the rumor,” the official was quoted as saying.
“We decided to take tough actions to prevent further damage not only to HyunA but to other female celebrities as well.”
