Model and actor So Ji-sub is returning to the spotlight ― only this time it’s through his rhymes with the release of his new hip-hop album.
On Tuesday the entertainer, best known for his roles in 2004 drama “I’m Sorry, I Love You” and last year’s “Master’s Sun,” released an EP titled “18 Years,” his first release since his “6 p.m. ... Ground” EP in January 2013.
The title, “18 Years,” represents how long he has been in the industry since he debuted as an actor, according to an official statement by So’s management agency 15k.
So’s new six-track electro/hip-hop EP features three new singles, plus the instrumental version of each of the songs. The album’s lead track “18 Years” was both written and composed by the entertainer himself, and features rap from Saetbyul. Members of hip-hop group Soul Dive feature on the EP’s other two tracks, “Boy Go” and “Inside the Illusion.”
So will head to Taiwan on June 28 to start a fan-meeting tour.
