South Korean rapper Psy expressed his gratitude to even those who “disliked” his music video as the MV for “Hangover” reached 30 million views on YouTube within 50 hours.

“Good things and Bad things make Everything!! THX to all ya!!” Psy wrote on Twitter right after the music video on his official channel exceeded the milestone on Wednesday.

In the picture Psy attached to the post, a screenshot of his YouTube page shows both counts for “Likes” and “Dislikes.” Numbers at the time showed 3.4 million “Likes” and 1.1 million “Dislikes.”

In his tweet, he thanked everyone including those who gave negative feedback, saying that any feedback is a form of attention towards the music video.

The music video for “Hangover” has been receiving mixed reactions, especially in Korea, as some watchers are questioning Psy’s intention behind depicting Korean drinking culture. Some called it “disparaging” compared to fans abroad who said it was “funny.”

“Psy is a Korean singer and he became an international sensation with ‘Gangnam Style’ because of local fans. Psy himself knows this fact so why should he disparage Korean culture?” an official who participated in the music video production told a local news agency.
