Daewoo E&C to start Yongsan apartment sales

Daewoo Engineering & Construction, a leading South Korean builder, said on Friday that it would begin allotting the Prugio apartment complex, dubbed the “Prugio Summit,” in Yongsan. Prugio is the apartment brand name of Daewoo E&C.

Located directly in front of the Yongsan subway station, the residential and commercial complex comprises of two buildings ― a 38-story building and a 39-story building.

The complex will offer a total of 151 apartments between 112 and 273 square meters, as well as 650 studio apartments sized anywhere from 24-48 square meters.

Of these spaces, 106 apartments and 455 studios is available for sale to the public, said Daewoo E&C.

Some of its key features include that it is not only located in a pleasant neighborhood with small fountains, ponds, sculptures, resting areas and hiking trails, but also has easy access to transportation and amenities, such as a community cafeteria.

The apartments also incorporate state-of-the-art technologies like an energy monitoring system and home networking system, as well as additional conveniences such as trash chutes by the elevators and vacuuming equipment throughout the residence.

Nearby are Hangang Park, Yongsan Family Park, E-mart and the National Museum of Korea, which will grant residents a good balance of recreational, shopping and cultural experiences, the company said.

It is five minutes’ walk from Yongsan subway station, which is also a KTX terminal, and Sinyongsan station.

The average price for each 3.3 square meters of space is expected to be around 28 million won ($27,500) for regular apartments and 14 million won for studio apartments. The move-in date is currently set for July 2017.
