SPC Group opened two Paris Baguette outlets in the U.S., the food maker said Thursday.

The 246.3-square-meter store on Massachusetts Avenue in Boston is expected to draw MIT and Harvard University students as well as commuters using Central Square Station nearby.

The Milpitas store in California is situated near the South Bay and Nimitz freeway junction.

“We are hoping the stores will promote Paris Baguette’s brand image in the U.S. because young people living near universities and Silicon Valley are active social media users,” a Paris Baguette spokesman said. “These two stores are expected to become role models for future Paris Baguette stores.”

The Boston and Milpitas outlets are the 34th and 35th Paris Baguette stores in the U.S., and the 175th and 176th stores outside South Korea.
