엑소 (EXO) 미니 앨범 '중독' 발매 잠정 연기, 침몰 여객선 애도에 동참

그룹 엑소가 진도 여객선 침몰 사고로 인한 애도의 뜻으로 새 앨범 발매일을 잠정 연기한다고 18일 밝혔다.

SM엔터테인먼트는 이 날 공식 홈페이지 등을 통해 "멤버들과 음반 및 음원 발매 등 향후 국내 활동 일정을 논의한 결과 21일로 예정된 미니앨범 '중독'(Overdose) 발매일을 잠정 연기하기로 결정했다"고 공지했다.

또 "희생자 분들에 대한 애도와 실종자 분들이 무사히 돌아오시기를 기원하는 마음에서 내린 결정이니 팬 여러분께 양해를 부탁드린다"고 덧붙였다.

EXO postpones release of mini album ‘Overdose’

K-pop boy band EXO has postponed the release date of its EP “Overdose” out of respect for the passengers onboard the sunken ferry Sewol, SM Entertainment said on Friday.

“After discussions with the members over the upcoming schedule, we have decided to indefinitely put off the April 21 release date of the album,” the agency announced through its official website.

“We ask for fans’ understanding, since the decision is our expression of condolence to the victims and our hope for the safe return of the missing passengers,” the agency added.
