“We decided to fly to Brazil, hoping for the Korean national team to win,” the production team said.

The cast includes the nation’s top comedians Yoo Jae-suk, Park Myung-soo and Noh Hong-chul.

The decision came amid heightened expectations of the comedy program’s special episode for the popular soccer event.

The “Infinite Challenge” team has previously produced a few seasonal episodes during the 2008 Beijing Olympics, in which the comedians took part in broadcasting the handball and gymnastics matches of the Korean national team.

Korean national soccer team is set to compete with Russia on Jun. 18, Algeria on Jun. 23 and Belgium on Jun. 27 to make its way to the top in the forthcoming Brazil World Cup, which will be held from June. 13 to July 14.
