환희,브라이언 재결합, 신곡 준비 중

남성 발라드 듀오 플라이투더스카이(환희,브라이언)이 새 음반 작업 중인 것으로 알려졌다.

13일 한 가요계 관계자에 따르면 둘은 2~3월 중에 2009년 데뷔 10주년 기념앨범이자 8번째 정규앨범 ‘디세니엄’ 발매 이후 5년만이다. 당시 플라이투더스카이는 “해체가 아닌, 각자의 솔로 활동에 더 집중하기 위해서”라고 설명한 바 있다.

이들은 작년 10월 환희가 전역하고 브라이언도 소속사가 없는 상황에서 재결성을 추진한 것으로 전해졌다. 환희의 소집해제 이후 둘은 작년 11월 영화 ‘친구2’ 시사회에 같이 참석하여 눈길을 끈 바 있다.

플라이투더스카이는 ‘미싱 유,’ ‘중력’을 포함하여 여러 히트곡을 만들어내며 수많은 팬을 확보해왔기 때문에 5년만의 앨범 발매 후 그 귀추가 주목된다

Ballad duo Fly to the Sky is said to be working on a new album to be released around February after a five-year hiatus, according to an official from the music industry Tuesday.

Fly to the Sky emphasized that they were “not disbanding, but planning to give more weight to going solo for the moment,” after releasing their last album, “Decennium,” on their 10th anniversary.

Singer Hwanhee, 32, a member of Fly to the Sky, was discharged from his two-year military service last October and Brian is not affiliated with any agency.

The two were seen together at the premiere of the film “Friends 2.” They debuted as a duo in 1999 and released a string of hit songs including “Missing you” and “Gravity.”
