Stand Up Seoul is bringing U.S. comedians Ben Kronberg and Baron Vaughn for shows in Seoul on Friday and Saturday.
Ben Kronberg combines whimsical yet sometimes edgy humor with musical accompaniment on instruments such as the Casio keyboard and the iPhone.
Since his breakout performance at HBO’s Aspen Comedy Festival, Ben has performed on several TV shows, and Comedy Central recently named Ben as one of the “Comics to Watch.” He is also the star of the Web video series “Ted & Gracie.”
Baron Vaughn plays Leo on USA’s “Fairly Legal” and recently released his first album, “Raised By Cable.” He has performed stand-up on U.S. TV including “Conan,” “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and Comedy Central.
The show will be hosted Friday by Albert Escobedo, with support from Sean Calhoun and Wilfred Lee. Saturday’s show will be hosted by Rudy Tyburczy, with support from El Wassim and John Meyerriecks.
The shows will be at 10 p.m. the Club Horizon Hall on the 23rd floor of the Renaissance Hotel in Yeoksam, Seoul. Tickets are priced at 45,000 won. To reserve tickets, email standupseoul@gmail.com or call 010-5630-9855.
A warm-up show will run at The Bull and Barrel in Itaewon on Thursday at 10 p.m. Tickets are 10,000 won and include a discount for tickets to the main show.
