Gwangju International Center is running its next term of language classes from Nov. 5-Dec. 21.

Classes are available in beginner and intermediate levels of Korean on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, Wednesday and Friday mornings, and Saturdays, depending on level.

There are also specialist courses with a focus on either Korean speaking, pronunciation or entertainment on Saturday afternoons. TOPIK classes at all levels are offered on Saturdays and Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

The center also runs Japanese and Mandarin classes at several levels, mostly beginner. Schedules vary, depending on language and level.

Korean classes are open to GIC members only and cost between 70,000 won and 150,000 won a term, plus the textbook. Phone lessons and private classes can also be arranged.

Japanese and Mandarin classes cost 70,000 won to 100,000 won per term for members and 90,000 won to 120,000 won for nonmembers.

More classes can be added if there is sufficient demand. To see a full schedule or to sign up, visit www.gic.or.kr.
