미스터리女 생활 생중계, “경찰이 날 스토킹해!”

자신이 경찰로부터 스토킹 당한다고 주장하며 스스로의 삶을 인터넷에 생중계한 한국 여성의 사연이 외신에 소개되었다.

영국 데일리 메일은 최근 외국의 네티즌들로부터 “칩 챈”이라는 별명이 붙은 한 여성에 대해 소개했다. 이름, 직업, 나이, 거주지 등이 모두 불명인 이 여성은 하루에 20시간 정도 수면을 취하는 것으로 보이며 하루의 대부분을 여러 장의 담요를 담고 지내며 집을 나서는 일이 거의 없다고 한다.

또한 집을 나설 때는 얼굴을 알아볼 수 없을만큼 심한 변장을 하고 나선다. “칩 챈”이 한국인이라는 점이 밝혀진 것은 그녀가 직접 쓴 것으로 보이는 문구가 적힌 플래카드가 인터넷 중계창에 노출되었기 때문이다.

그녀는 이 플래카드를 통해 자신이 “P”라는 이름을 가진 경정으로부터 스토킹 당하고 있으며, 이 경찰이 그녀의 몸 곳곳에 “마인드 컨트롤 무기”를 심었다고 주장했다.

현재 네이버에는 “칩 챈”이 운영하는 것으로 추정되는 블로그가 있는데, 이 곳에는 인터넷 중계장에서 보인 플래카드에 이용된 용어와의 동일한 용어가 (경정 P, 마인드 컨트롤 무기 등) 다수 목격된다.

그녀는 P 경정이 자신을 죽이기 위해 “마인드컨트롤 무기를 눈썹뼈에 심었다”고 말하면서 이로 인해 찌르는 듯한 두통에 시달렸다고 주장했다. 또한 P 경정이 수시로 자신을 기절시킨후 집에 침입했다고 적었다.

또한 “칩 챈”은 2006년 2월 이후 한 1초도 수면을 취한 적이 없다면서, 자는 것처럼 보이는 것은 사실 기절한 것이라고 말했다. 그녀는 “매일 20~15시간 의식잃게 한다”면서 이로 인해 내성이 생겨 평생 잠잘수 없게 되었다고 주장했다.

유튜브에는 외국의 네티즌들이 “칩 챈이 집을 나서고 있다,” “칩 챈이 귀가하고 있다” 등 다양한 내용의 영상이 올라와 있는데, 이들은 “칩 챈의 집에서 불이 수시로 깜빡거리고 있다. 예전에도 이런 적이 있냐” 따위의 내용으로 이 여성을 주제로 다양한 대화를 하고 있는 것으로 확인되었다.

데일리 메일에 따르면 한국 경찰은 이 여성에 대해 알고 있으며, 이 여성이 정신질환에 시달리고 있다고 한 것으로 밝혀졌다.

A mysterious South Korean woman who has been broadcasting her everyday life on the Internet for years under claims of being stalked by a corrupt policeman is garnering attention from international media.

Britain’s Daily Mail recently ran a story on the woman nicknamed “Chip-Chan” by netizens who lives under a heap of blankets, apparently sleeps up to 20 hours a day, and hardly ever leaves her home. The odd thing is, she wants the world to watch her.

Thousands of people around the world are now hooked on the channel showing every aspect of her odd life, although she does not let on much about herself besides fragments of sentences that make little or no sense. Her age, name, job, and pretty much everything else remain unknown.

In what is presumed to be her blog on Naver, Korea’s biggest Web portal, she said she was being stalked by a policeman, “P,” who implanted a “mind-controlling weapon” near her eyebrows and her ankles.

“Policeman P failed to kill me so he put an implant near my eyebrow, for the purpose of trying to make me get brain cancer. I had stabbing pain in my head all day for over a year. I can’t even brush my hair,” she wrote on her blog titled “Making one lose consciousness without the stage of being on the verge of losing consciousness: mind-controlling weapon.”

Chip-Chan claimed that “P” broke into her home constantly after paralyzing her. She said that she had not slept “one second” since February 2006. When she appears to be asleep, she is actually passed out, the woman claimed.

“I was forcefully passed out for 20-15 hours (sic) every day. I can’t ever sleep again for the rest of my life,” she said.

Videos of Chip-Chan doing various activities have appeared on the video-sharing website YouTube. They apparently show that the woman will not leave her apartment without being garbed in heavy disguise.

According to the Daily Mail, local police are aware of the woman and have said that she is mentally ill.
