Vocal group Noel will hold its first Japanese concert “Melody in Tokyo” at the La Foret Museum Roppongi on Saturday, some 11 years after their debut.

The event was organized upon requests of their Japanese fans, the group’s agency ITM Entertainment said through a press release Friday.

Noel is a four-member male vocal group debuted in 2002 with their first album “Despite Holding On.” Since then they had a number of hits songs including “Proposal,” “Even Painful” and “It Was All You.”

The group has been preparing for the Japanese market and studied Japanese language. One of the members, Na Sung-ho, is expected to lead the conversations with their Japanese fans during the concert.

“This concert is Noel’s first solo concert in Japan, for the first time in 11 years. So they have put so much effort to make it a memorable experience for their fans in Japan,” the agency stated.

Meanwhile, acoustic singer Roy Kim will embark on his first nationwide concert tour “Love Love Love” on July 6 at Busan KBS hall. Then he will perform in Seoul on July 13 and 14 before heading to Daejeon and Daegu on July 19 and 20, respectively. The 20-year-old singer released his first official album “Love Love Love” on June 25.

Kim was the winner of the music audition program “Superstar K4” last year and has topped local music charts with his debut digital single “Spring Spring Spring” in April.

“I want to thank my fans for their support that helped me stand on a stage and sing. Although I have been very busy lately with the new album release and TV appearances, I consider meeting my fans face-to-face to be more important,” Roy Kim said in his messages to fans through his agency, CJ E&M.
