LONDON (AP) ― Millwall fans fought among themselves at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, overshadowing Wigan’s 2-0 victory that advanced the club to the first FA Cup final in its 81-year history.

Police and security officers appeared slow to react as disorder built throughout the second half. Groups of Millwall supporters brawled with each other and security personnel.

Ten people were arrested following “sporadic disorder” among Millwall fans, police said. The investigation was ongoing.

On the field, Shaun Maloney put Wigan in front in the 25th minute with a crisp finish for the Premier League team. Callum McManaman scored from a tight angle in the 78th minute against second-tier Millwall.

In the Premier League, Arsenal moved into third place by rallying late for a 3-1 win at home against Norwich.

Arsenal (17-7-8) has 59 points, one more than Chelsea (17-7-7) and Tottenham (17-8-7).

Sixth-place Everton (14-5-13) and American goalkeeper Tim Howard defeated Queens Park Rangers 2-0 on goals by Darron Gibson in the 40th and Victor Anichebe in the 56th and moved within three ponts of Spurs.

Spain

Lionel Messi has been left out of Barcelona’s roster for its Spanish league game at Real Zaragoza on Sunday.

Andres Iniesta, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba and goalkeeper Jose Pinto will also miss Sunday’s match as Barcelona can afford to rest regulars because of its 13-point lead.

Messi injured his right hamstring April 2 and went on as a substitute on Wednesday, helping create the goal that advanced Barcelona to a Champions League semifinal against Bayern Munich starting April 23.

Germany

A week after clinching the Bundesliga title, Bayern Munich used mainly second-choice players and still beat Nuremberg 4-0 on goals by Jerome Boateng, Mario Gomez, defender Rafinha and Xherdan Shaqiri.

American defender Timmy Chandler entered at the start of the second half for Nuremberg.

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho watched his team’s Champions League semifinal opponent, Borussia Dortmund, rout last-place Greuther Fuerth 6-1.
