An ex-con previously convicted of a narcotics felony was arrested Monday on charges of drugging and raping a 15-year-old girl, prosecutors said.

According to Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office, the 34-year-old suspect injected the girl with 0.03 grams of Methamphetamine (Philopon) and raped her after she started hallucinating.

The unnamed suspect allegedly met the girl on an online chatting site, lured her by offering to pay her 250,000 won ($230) and took her to a motel he was staying in Boncheon-dong, southern Seoul.

He then tricked the victim into taking the drug by saying, “it will make you thinner and prettier.” He is suspected of drugging her at least four times from September 2012 to January of 2013.

The suspect also suggested to the victim that she move in with him, after learning that the victim had a “sizable” amount in her bank account. Police investigation further revealed that the suspect threatened and strangled the victim multiple times when she irritated him. (minsikyoon@heraldcorp.com)

서울중앙지검 강력부(박성진 부장검사)는 채팅에서 만난 10대 여자 청소년에게 필로폰을 투약하고 성폭행한 혐의(마약류관리에 관 한 법률 위반 등)로 Y(34)씨를 구속기소했다고 4일 밝혔다.

검찰에 따르면 휴대전화 판매원인 Y씨는 지난해 9월 스마트폰 채팅으로 만난 A(15)양에게 25만원을 준다며 자신이 묵고 있는 서울 봉천동 모텔로 데려갔다.

이어 "살이 빠지고 예뻐진다"고 꾀어 A양에게 필로폰 0.03ｇ을 주사한 뒤 환각 상태에 빠지자 성폭행한 것으로 드러났다.

Y씨는 A양이 필로폰 주사를 거부하면 물에 타서 마시게 하거나 자고 있는 도중에 몰래 주사를 놓는 등 올해 1월까지 4차례에 걸쳐 필로폰을 투약했다. Y씨는 A양에게 상당한 액수의 적금이 있다는 사실을 알고 동거를 제안하기도 했다.

마약범 전과가 있는 Y씨는 자신도 9차례 필로폰을 투약한 것으로 드러났다. 그는 A양이 기분에 거슬리는 행동을 하면 부엌칼로 위협하고 목을 조르거나 소화기로 때리는 등 수차례 폭행을 일삼은 것으로 조사됐다.

검찰은 A양을 소년보호재판에 넘겨 보호관찰 등 선도 처분을 받게 할 방침이다. (연합뉴스)
