Japanese pop star Minami Minegishi tearfully shaved her head in an online video as a gesture of contrition after breaking her band AKB48‘s no-dating rule.

Minegishi, 20, apologized to her fans and swore she did not want to leave the band, despite having violated its production company’s guidelines by spending the night with her boyfriend, the BBC reported Friday.

The dalliance became public when she was photographed by a tabloid leaving her beau‘s flat.

Her nearly 4-minute video apology was posted on AKB48’s official website.

“I don‘t believe just doing this means I can be forgiven for what I did, but the first thing I thought was that I don’t want to quit AKB48,” the BBC quoted the singer as saying. “If it is possible, I wish from the bottom of my heart to stay in the band. Everything I did is entirely my fault. I am so sorry.” (UPI)

’연애금지령’ 때문에..걸그룹 동영상 화제


일본의 걸그룹 AKB48의 멤버 미네기시 미나미(20)가 남자친구와의 동침 스캔들에 대한 사과로 삭발을 감행했다.

 미네기시는 삭발한 모습으로 눈물을 흘리며 그룹을 떠나고 싶지 않다고 동영상을 통해 호소했다. 이 영상은 AKB48의 공식 웹사이트를 통해 발표됐다.
AKB48의 소속사는 연애금지령을 내리고 가수들을 관리해왔지만 미네기시가 배우 겸 댄서인 시라하마 아란과 하룻밤을 함께 보낸 사실이 현지 언론에 의해 포착됐다.

해당 언론인 일본의 한 타블로이드지는 미네기시가 남자친구의 집에서 나오는 사진을 공개한 바 있다.

미네기시는 4분 가량의 동영상에서 "이렇게 한다고 내가 한 일을 용서 받을 수 있다고 생각하지 않는다. 그러나 맨 먼저 든 생각은 내가 AKB48을 그만두고 싶지 않다는 점이었다"고 말하며 "가능하다면 내 마음을 다해 이 그룹에 잔류하고 싶다. 모든 것은 나의 잘못이다. 사죄한다"고 덧붙였다.
