South Korean police have questioned an American for alleged sexual harassment of three flight attendants aboard a flight bound for Incheon from New York, an official said.

The American, identified only by his family name Rakowski, allegedly got drunk and hugged three crew members and hit two other crew members, the police official in Incheon said late Thursday.

A crew member overpowered the suspect by using a taser gun and later handed him over to South Korean police upon arrival at Incheon International Airport earlier Thursday.

Police questioned Rakowski before releasing him, the police official said, adding that the alleged sexual harassment was not serious enough to seek a formal arrest warrant. He asked not to be identified, citing policy. (Yonhap News)

항공기서 女승무원에 몹쓸짓하다 결국..

인천공항경찰대는 3일 항공기 안에서 여자 승무 원을 성희롱하고 이를 말리는 남자 승무원을 폭행한 혐의(항공안전 및 보안에 관한 법률 위반)로 미국인 A(44)씨를 불구속 입건했다고 밝혔다.

경찰에 따르면 A씨는 이날 오전 11시께 미국 뉴욕을 출발, 인천으로 향하던 한국 국적 항공기 안에서 승무원 2명의 얼굴과 팔 등을 때려 상처를 입힌 혐의를 받고 있다.

A씨는 이에 앞서 술에 취해 여자 승무원 3명을 껴안는 등 성희롱을 한 혐의도 받고 있다.

승무원들은 기내에 비치된 테이저건으로 A씨를 제압했다.

경찰은 항공기가 인천공항에 도착한 뒤 A씨를 검거했다.
