BoA’s first solo concert in Korea sold out, second show added

The K-pop veteran and music icon BoA will be holding her first solo concert in Korea since her debut in 2000. A second performance was recently added due to high demand.
“This will be BoA’s first solo concert since her debut and the local fans’ interest was strong,” said a representative from S.M. Entertainment.
The artist released her latest seventh album, “Only One,” in July, writing and composing the title track with the same name. Upon its release, the title track single ranked at the top of all the major music charts in Korea, receiving an “all-kill.” BoA has also confirmed that she will be releasing a new Japanese single sometime early next year.
The concert, titled “BoA Special Live 2013 ― Here I am,” will be held in the Olympic Hall at the Seoul Olympic Park on Jan. 26. The additional show will be held the following night. Tickets to the second show will be available on GMarket starting Dec. 27 at 8 p.m.
