Incheon announces winners of essay contest for GCF

The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority announced the winners of the second English Essay Contest out of 170 Korean and foreigner participants.
The theme of the competition held last Wednesday was on Incheon’s potential as the host city of the Global Climate Fund.
The winner of the foreigner category was Peter Walsh, an employee at Pak Mun Girls’ High School, who analyzed the merits of Songdo through a foreigner’s perspective.
The Korean category winner was Duksung Women’s University senior Kim Myeong-seon who outlined the validity of bringing GCF to Incheon, emphasizing Songdo’s green growth and environmentally conscious structure.
The competition rate for the Korean category was 10 to one, while the foreigner category had a three to one competition rate.
