A 32-year-old British woman has been accused of having sex with teenage siblings, news reports said.

Claire Louise Roundill was spared jail after pleading guilty to engaging in sexual acts with the teenagers, supplying cannabis and possessing of the drug at Hull Crown Court.

At the first time, she had a relationship with the elder of the siblings. After she was dumped, she started to chat up his younger brother.

According to the boys, she has been sending a 15-year-old boy hundreds of text messages every day, which was showing pictures of her naked body. Later Roundill drove the kid to Hessle Foreshore in East Yorkshire to have sex in her car.

Roundill said at the court that she was not aware of the age of the boy at first. However, even after she recognized it, she said she kept having sex with him. Roundill said that her marriage was in trouble and suffered financial problems. She assured that she had an abortion. Judge John Dowse ruled that she must sign the Sex Offenders’ Register for 10 years.

The father of the two kids said, “If it had been the other way around and this was a man having sex with a 15-year-old girl, he would have been locked up, without a shadow of a doubt. But, because she is a woman, she has walked free.”

“A lovely boy has changed. He has gone off the rails. He was never like this before. If we had known what was going on, we would have put a stop to it straight away.”

라운딜은 재판 중 자신과 관계를 가진 소년를 처음 만났을 때 그의 나이를 몰랐다고 주장했으나, 그녀가 소년이 미성년자라는 사실을 알고 난 다음에도 관계를 지속했다는 점이 드러났다.

사건을 맡은 판사 존 조우스 씨는 라운딜이 감옥에 가지 않는 대신 성범죄자로 10년간 등록되어 있어야 한다고 판결했다.

한편 소년들의 아버지는 재판 판결에 대해 불만을 표하며 “만약 이 사건이 반대로 성인 남자가 15세 소녀와 관계를 가진 것이었다면 의심의 여지 없이 감옥에 갔을 것”이라고 주장했다. 그는 라운딜이 여자이기 때문에 풀려났다고 말했다.

“사랑스런 소년이 탈선했습니다. 그는 전에는 그런 적이 없어요. 만약 우리가 이런 일이 벌어지고 있다는 걸 알았더라면 당장 그만두게 했을 겁니다”라고 그는 말했다. (코리아헤럴드)
