I will never give up on performing: Psy

Singer Psy has appeared on an edition of SBS television talk show “Healing Camp” to be aired Monday, and confessed that he once experienced a life-threatening accident on a stage.

Psy, who earned international attention along with the hit of his latest single “Gangnam Style,” and is also well known for his powerful performances said that he would never give up performing on stage despite the accident.

He also revealed the story behind his 12 years in music, including his drug use and military service.

The popular singer has been at the center of controversy since his debut in 2000.

He was arrested for smoking marijuana in 2001 and sent to serve in the army after a court found him dodging his mandatory military service in 2007.

Following the release of his album last month, the singer received sensational reviews worldwide.

The music video of the song, which has received more than 26 million views on YouTube, was featured on CNN, in the Los Angeles Times, and on France’s M6 TV.

The episode will air on Aug. 13.
