An Ohio woman said a police officer helped deliver her baby when she didn't even know she was pregnant.

McKenzie Acierno said she and her husband called 911 early Sunday when she was experiencing severe stomach pains, the Ashtabula (Ohio) Star Beacon reported Wednesday.

"I told my husband that it felt almost like I was having a baby," she said.

Geneva-on-the-Lake auxiliary police officer Sandy Davis arrived at the home and discovered Acierno was indeed having a baby.

"I had no idea I was pregnant," Acierno said. "I had no side effects, no morning sickness or anything. Suddenly, there was a lot of pain and then there was a baby. Two pushes and that was it."

The baby girl was born at 6 pounds, 14 ounces. She is the couple's third child. (UPI)

에시에르노 씨는 입덧이나 임신과 관련된 현상이 전혀 없어 임신한 줄 몰랐다며 놀라움을 표했다. “갑자기 엄청나게 아프더니 아기가 나왔죠. 두 번 힘 줬더니 끝이었어요,”라고 그녀는 말했다.

갑작스럽게 셋째를 보게 된 에시에르노 씨의 남편은 처음에는 충격을 받았지만 3.1 kg의 건강한 딸이 태어나 기쁘다고 밝혔다.
