Winning the most airline industry awards worldwide, Singapore Airlines’ reputation as the industry trendsetter and innovative market leader is built on firm ground.

Besides global master chefs’ selection of gourmet in-flight meals, the company offers business applications, enabling passengers to do office work on board ― even without a laptop ― by accessing files from a USB flash drive and using a remote control equipped with a QWERTY keyboard.

Singapore Airlines boasts high efficiency and safety, with the average age of its fleet at six years and two months ―making it one of the world’s youngest and most fuel-efficient fleets.

In addition to “Singapore Girl,” the company’s marketing icon instantly recognized by travelers, KrisWorld, a state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment and communications system across all three classes, provides more than 1,000 individual options, including 100 of the latest movies and 180 popular TV programs.

A member of the Star Alliance network, Singapore Airlines’ route network extends across 149 destinations in 45 countries. The company is slated to operate 35 direct flights in total from Incheon to Singapore and San Francisco.

In March 25, it introduced an additional daily service on the Incheon-Singapore route, increasing the overall frequency to four flights per day from three with one daily service to San Francisco.

Singapore Airlines will launch ad hoc supplementary flights between Singapore and Busan for the summer season, scheduled to operate seven times between July 20 and August 13 this year.

Countless awards underscore the company’s quality and global competitiveness, including DestinAsian’s “The Best Airline for Premium Class Travel” for first and business class in 2012.

The company also won the Fortune Magazine’s “The World’s Most Admired Company out of Top 50,” Skytrax’s “The Best Business Class,” “Cabin Staff” and “Official 5-star Airline,” and DestinAsian’s “The Best Airline For 6 Consecutive Years.”
