The 35th Prince Lot Hula Festival, one of the oldest Hula dance events in Hawaii, will take place on July 21 at Moanalua Garden in Oahu Island. The one-day dance event will feature different types of Hula dance from traditional to modern as well as special performance by the dance team which won the previous Hula dance competition in Hawaii under the theme of “A Multitude of Hula Groups Gather.” The annual event draws more than 10,000 people.
“The Prince Lot Hula Festival offers a chance for dancers and audiences to enjoy together and share the Hawaiian tradition and modern culture,” said the president of the Moanalua Garden Foundation Alika Jamile.
