Three construction workers were fired after they made fun of their client, the resident of the house being worked on, by posting a photo of his jeans on Facebook.

The three men were working in Dennis Owen’s house in Bangor, Wales, when they found Owen’s jeans and took a picture.

They posted the picture with the comment, “the fattest person I have seen in my life.”

A councilor in the area reported that Owen was hurt by the workers’ actions.

The post was removed from Facebook and mobile phones were later banned from the construction site.

The construction firm, Lovell, apologized to the client and said what happened was not acceptable and would not be tolerated.

건설인부, 고객 놀리다 해고 당해...

웨일즈의 한 건축회사에서 일하는 인부 3명이 페이스북에서 고객을 폄하는 발언을 해 해고 당하는 일이 일어났다.

이 세명은 웨일즈의 뱅고르에 사는 자신들의 고객인 데니스 오웬의 집에서 일을 하다 데니스의 청바지를 찾아서 사진을 찍었다.

이들은 이 사진을 페이스북에 올리면서 “내가 만난 사람 중 제일 뚱뚱한 사람,” 이라는 코멘트를 덧붙였다.

피해자와 통화를  뱅고르 지역의 한 구의원은 이들이 저지른 일로 데니스는 큰 상처를 받았다고 전했다.

현재 문제의 발언과 사진은 삭제됐고 공사가 이뤄지던 데니스의 집에서는 스마트 폰을 통한 SNS 사용이 금지됐다.

이 문제를 일으킨 인부들을 고용한 로벨이라는 회사는 편지를 통해 데니스에게 사과를 했고 이러한 일이 일어난 것에 대해 용납할 수 없다고 발표했다.
