A YouTube user uploaded a video of him building tens of thousands domino pieces on May 11, drawing more than 440,000 hits in a little more than a week.
The man, under the YouTube username of FlippyCat, stacked 60 big dominoes which contained 990 dominoes each and another 600 to spell out numbers on the floor. All told, 60,000 dominoes were used.
The building process took him approximately 65 and a half hours to build over eight days. It took 12 seconds for all the dominoes to fall down when pushed.
FlippyCat also delighted viewers with his neon t-shirts that matched the chosen color of the big dominoes.
“If you pay close attention to the setup sequence, you can find one domino I built while wearing the wrong color shirt,” he said.

한 유튜브 유져가 무려 6만개의 도미노를 세우고 무너뜨리는 영상을 올려 큰 화제가 되고 있다. 이 영상은 5월 11일 처음 공개되어 현재까지 44만 명의 조회수를 넘어서고 있다.
‘FlippyCat’이라는 닉네임을 쓰는 이 남성은 동영상에서 990개의 작은 도미노 조각으로 구성된 큰 도미노 60개와 숫자를 표시하는데 쓰인 600조각을 합쳐 총 6만개의 도미노를 사용했다.
이 작업은 8일에 걸쳐 65시간 반 동안 진행되었으며 무너지는 데는 겨우 12초가 소요됐다.
FlippyCat은 새로운 색의 도미노를 세울 때마다 그 색상과 일치하는 네온 티셔츠를 입어 보는 이들을 즐겁게 했다.
그는 “세우는 과정을 자세히 살펴보면 한 도미노를 세울 때 잘못된 색의 티셔츠를 입고 있는 걸 볼 수 있다”고 말했다.
