BERLIN (AP) ― Robert Lewandowski scored a hat trick Saturday to help Bundesliga champion Borussia Dortmund beat Bayern Munich 5-2 in the German Cup final.

This was the first time Dortmund has won the league and Cup in the same season. It was Dortmund’s fifth consecutive win over Bayern, which plays in the Champions League final against Chelsea in Munich next Saturday.

Japan’s Shinji Kagawa opened the scoring in the third minute before Arjen Robben tied it for Bayern on a penalty kick in the 25th minute. Mats Hummels put Dortmund in front with another penalty kick in the 41st. Lewandowski’s first goal came during first-half injury time.

The Pole scored again in the 58th and 81st minutes. The outburst sealed the outcome after Franck Ribery struck for Bayern in the 75th.

Barcelona draws

Seydou Keita scored on a header off Martin Montoya’s cross in the second minute of stoppage time, giving Barcelona a 2-2 tie at Real Betis that ensured coach Pep Guardiola did not lose his final league game at the helm of the dethroned Spanish champions.

Barcelona went ahead on Sergio Busquets’ goal in the ninth minute, then played a man short after Dani Alves was ejected in the 53rd for his second yellow card. Ruben Castro put the hosts ahead with goals in the 71st and 74th minutes.

Barcelona’s Lionel Messi was unable to add to his league-record 50 goals and 72 overall. Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo has 45 going into the new champions’ season-ending match Sunday against Mallorca.

Beckham finds net

David Beckham bent in a free kick in the 62nd minute to help the Los Angeles Galaxy tie the Montreal Impact 1-1 on Saturday at Olympic Stadium in front of 60,860 fans ― the largest crowd for a professional soccer game in Canada.

“The majority of people here tonight were cheering the Impact on, but the fact that there were 60,000 fans is incredible,” Beckham said. “We thank all the fans, whether they’re Impact fans or just football fans. It was a great day for the game.”

There was a mix of boos and cheers each time Beckham played the ball, even when he scored on one of his patented free kicks that beat goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts inside the right post from 23 yards.

“Donovan is such a talented goalkeeper,” Beckham said. “With the free kick, I knew I had to put it pretty precise to beat him.”

Fenerbahce fans clash

Hundreds of soccer fans stormed the field and clashed with police after the Turkish league championship.

The mayhem followed a 0-0 game Saturday that gave Galatasaray the title over rival Fenerbahce.

Fenerbahce fans broke plastic chairs and threw them at police. Police used their shields to protect the players at Fenerbahce’s Sukru Saracoglu Stadium. Police used pepper spray to disperse the fans and evacuated the stadium as players fled to locker rooms.

Thousands of Galatasaray fans took to the streets, honking car horns across the country to celebrate their team’s 18th league title. The victory comes days after Turkish soccer authorities cleared all teams implicated in an alleged match-fixing scheme.
