European businesses here got the chance to give back to Korean society at a charity event on Friday.

The “Share Christmas with Love” event to benefit Namsanwon was organized by the European Union Chamber of Commerce in Korea and the Europe-Korea Foundation, the EUCCK’s charity arm.

The donation ceremony included donations and Christmas gifts as well as the announcement of scholarships for children at the orphanage on Seoul’s Namsan.

The EUCCK and EFK also staged a puppet show and a magic show at the year-end charity night to benefit children at the orphanage first established in 1952 for orphans of the Korean War
