Korean Air received the top award for its first class seats, the carrier announced Thursday.
The airline said it was awarded the Asia’s Leading Airline First Class award at the World Travel Awards Asia and Australia in Bangkok on Wednesday.
This is the second consecutive year Korean Air has been selected for the award.
The award is organized by the U.K.-based World Travel Group, and selects outstanding companies from the aviation, hotel and tourism industries.
The company attributed its selection to its efforts at improving the quality of facilities and services provided in first class cabins including the introduction of the specially designed Kosmo Suite first class seats.
