Gwangju International Center is looking for people to take part in its homestay program.

The center says the two-day, one-night homestays with Korean families is the easiest way to gain a deeper insight into the local culture.

The programs start at 2 p.m. and end noon the next day. The applicable nights are Oct.8, 15 and 22.

The cost is free, thanks to funding from Gwangju Metropolitan City.

Deadline for applications is Friday. Send them to gichomestay@gmail.com. Places accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
