Demonstrations held across Australia against gender-based violence

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has joined a march in Canberra this afternoon as part of a national rally against gender-based violence. Demonstrations have been held across the country following a recent spate of deaths involving women allegedly killed by men known to them. Members of government have expressed their support for the national rally saying that much more needs to be done.
