Seaside getaway at Hilton Namhae Golf Spa Resort

Hilton Namhae Golf and Spa Resort is offering a seasonal package of accommodation, food, spa and coffee through Nov. 30.

The Colorful Autumn Package features a one-night stay in a suite room, breakfast at the restaurant Breeze and access to the spa, as well as take-out coffee. The Namhae area in the southern coast of Korea is ideal for travel in fall, with its seaside walking trails and close proximity to scenic mountains.

The resort has rooms offering views of the sea, golf courses open throughout all seasons and conference rooms. The facilities can be used for family holidays as well as business meetings. The resort is a four-hour drive from Seoul and two hours away from Busan.

Indian food fest at Millennium Seoul Hilton

Millennium Seoul Hilton’s Cafe 395 is featuring an Indian food festival through Oct. 27 as part of the India Sarang cultural festival. Various dishes prepared by chef Sanjay Tyagi, who has flown in from India, will be on offer, on top of the restaurant’s regular buffet dishes.

They include roasted shredded chicken tossed in tangy spice and vegetables; griddle potato dices and chickpeas with Indian chutney; fresh yoghurt and crushed pearls of boondi mixed in spices; fish cooked with mustard oil, onion, fresh yoghurt and flavored with fenugreek; paneer cooked with royal cumin, fenugreek, onion and pulpy tomatoes; an assortment of cauliflower, fenugreek leaves and potatoes seasoned in cumin; basmati cooked in dum with minced lamb balls; and grate carrots simmered in ghee and dry fruits.

Tyagi was Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s personal chef during his visit to Korea in 2015. The buffet meal, including the Indian dishes, costs 94,000 won per person for lunch and 99,000 won for dinner. For reservation and inquiry, call (02) 317-3062. 




Roast turkey takeout at Sheraton Seoul D Cube City

Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel’s restaurant Feast on the 41st floor will offer a roast turkey set for take-out for Thanksgiving and year-end celebrations from Nov. 1 through Dec. 31.

The set has a roast turkey weighing 5 kilograms and side dishes, including cranberry sauce, sweet potato with praline streusel, maple glazed baked ham, brussel sprouts and bacon, baked macaroni and cheese, corn on the cob, maple and pecan carrots, roast pumpkin with raisins and sunflower seeds, baked potatoes with chestnuts and an apple pie topped with cream. Premium wedding at Sheraton Grand Incheon Hotel

Sheraton Grand Incheon Hotel is offering a wedding package that can accommodate up to 600 people at once.

The wedding package features meticulous programs organized by professional wedding consultants, with flower decorations and a course menu prepared by the hotel’s head chef.

The couple will be provided with an exclusive room service maximizing convenience and guests can take a shuttle bus to the hotel from Incheon University subway station.

Halloween party at Grand Hyatt Seoul

Grand Hyatt Seoul’s restaurant-bar J.J. Mahoney will organize Halloween parties on Oct. 26, 27 and 28 from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. Cover charge is 50,000 won for men and 40,000 won for ladies.

J.J. Mahoney has been organizing Halloween parties under different themes for the past 30 years. This year’s theme is based on medieval demons, such as grim reaper, evil knight and drinking from a poisoned chalice, which are organized into seven rooms. Staff will be dressed in medieval costumes resembling a king, queen, knights and friars.
