[STOCK WATCH] Kangwon Land ends week on decline

[THE INVESTOR] On Sept. 9, Kangwon Land (035250). declined 1.5%, compared with yesterday, to 39,300 won (US$ 36.66). It had declined 7.12% through the past month. Standard deviation, which indicates variableness, records 1.4% over the same period of time over one month.

Compared with its close competitors within the same industry, KOSPI, even though the monthly earnings rate of Kangwon Land Inc. stayed negative, its volatility for one month was at the lowest level. Over the recent month, the Return On Risk, the return on investment with consideration about risk, was -5.0%. Though the volatility was the lowest among its peer group, the Return On Risk was low as stock price decline. Moreover, compared with the KOSPI industry, the Return On Risk is below the industrial mean, -1.0, and thus it is hard to say that the industrial comparison performance was positive. 


   


Yesterday, foreigners bought 10,597 shares, while institutions sold 25,690 shares. As a shareholding sum by investor group for the past four weeks, foreigners have bought 148,605 shares with a maintenance of shareholding and individuals have bought 292,651 shares with an increasing position. However, during the same period, Institutions have sold 441,256 shares with a selling trend.
