Jin Goo tied the knot Sunday with his girlfriend in a private wedding.

The wedding was held behind closed doors out of consideration for the bride’s privacy, the actor’s agency said. No press conference was held either.

The 34-year-old started dating his soulmate in April. The groom once mentioned late last year in a television program that he was into someone but did not confess his feelings until this year.

In the wedding invitation, the groom’s witty line saying, “I have prayed every night for Ji-hye“ grabbed attention, since the word “Ji-hye” referred to the literal meaning of “wisdom” and the bride’s name at the same time.

The couple postponed their honeymoon until autumn due to Jin’s film work.

The actor is currently working on true story-based film “Battle of Yeongpyeong,” which depicts North Korea’s surprise attack against the South Korean Navy near Yeonpyeongdo Island in 2002.

Jin recently starred in “The Admiral: Roaring Currents,” which drew more than 17 million viewers.
