Kyuhyun from idol group Super Junior responded positively to the idea of international marriage during an episode of the MBC talk show “Star Gazing.”

The emcee of the talk show asked Kyuhyun, “Wouldn’t it be possible for you to … (have an) international marriage?”

Kyuhyun responded by saying, “Why not?”

Super Junior members Leeteuk, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun participated in the talk show with the group’s official fan club “E.L.F.” The episode aired on Thursday.

During the show, one of Kyuhyun’s foreign fans from Canada confessed having come to Korea to work as an English teacher after watching a live clip of the title song from the group’s third full-length album, “Sorry, Sorry.”

“The walls of our classroom are covered with posters of Super Junior. She teaches with English subtitles of Super Junior interviews and watches concerts or musicals of the members every week,” one of her students said.

“She even visited stores owned by the members’ families, and met Kyuhyun’s mother,” the student added, showing a picture of her and the singer’s mother to prove her point.

“Maybe one day this fan will be his mother’s daughter-in-law,” the emcee of the talk show said in jest after hearing the story of the foreign fan.

Super Junior is currently promoting its seventh album, “Mamacita (Ayaya),” released on Aug. 29.
