Boy bands, girl groups offer words of condolence for EunB

Fellow celebrities offered words of condolence online for EunB of K-pop girl group Ladies’ Code who died in a fatal car accident Wednesday.

The 22-year-old singer, whose real name is Koh Eun-bi, was injured after the van she was on lost control and crashed into a protective wall around 1:32 a.m. on a freeway near Yongin, Gyeonggi Province. She was transferred to a nearby hospital but died despite efforts to save her.

Shocked at the tragic news, Jaehyo of boy band Block B wrote on his Twitter, “May she rest in peace. It breaks my heart. I will pray for the fast recovery of the rest of the (injured) people.”

Gyuri of girl group KARA also wrote on Twitter, “I don’t know what to say … May she rest in peace.”

She also urged fans to pray for the recovery of Sojung and RiSe, two other members of Ladies’ Code who were heavily injured in the car accident.

“It is heartbreaking. May she rest in peace,” said Noeul of girl group Rainbow.

Television entertainer Kong Seoyoung joined the condolence move by tweeting, “I remember the Ladies’ Code member’s warm greetings and passionate eyes when we ran into each other at a hair salon early in the morning. … I hope all those injured get well. And my dearest Koh EunB, May she rest in peace. Let us pray together.”
