Actress Jang Na-ra looks exactly the same as 12 years ago, actor Jang Hyuk said in a press conference for MBC’s new rom-com drama “Fated to Love You” in Yeouido, Seoul, on Monday.

This is the second time for the two Jangs to costar in the same romantic comedy. Back in 2002, the two played lovers in another MBC rom-com series, “Successful Story of a Bright Girl.”

“I feel comfortable about working with her. Her face looks the same as back in those days (in 2002) with a strong sense of familiarity,” Jang Hyuk said, stressing that “working on this drama has been extremely fun and delightful.”

Jang Hyuk also recalled that he did not get to talk to the baby-faced actress 12 years ago. “In those days, we did not have the time to chat because we had to act in too many scenes (in a short period of time.)”

“Fated to Love You” portrays the romantic love story of a highly unlikely couple -- the only heir of a conglomerate owner family and an ordinary girl who comes out of nowhere.

Jang Hyuk plays Lee Gun, a stuck-up aristocrat who has been indulged by his business tycoon family all his life. One day, the heir happens to impregnate a virtual nobody, Kim Mi-young, played by Jang Na-ra, plunging him into a labyrinth of romantic difficulties.

The first episode of the Wednesday-Thursday rom-com airs on July 2 at 10 p.m.
