Apple launched its Lunar New Year Sale on Friday, dubbed Red Friday, offering Macs, iPhones, iPads and iPods at discounted prices.
“This Friday, 10 January, is our special one-day shopping event. Browse the Apple Online Store now for great gift ideas,” Apple said.
The tech giant is offering deals on Macs, the iPhone series -- iPhone 5s and 4s, iPads, iPods and accessories like the Smart Cover, which are available at both retail stores and online at www.apple.com.
It is noteworthy that the iPhone series was added to the list of sale items. The tech firm is renowned for its no-sale policy on iPhones.
Red Friday, similar to the November Black Friday sales in the U.S., is held in selected Asian countries including South Korea, along with China, Hong Kong, Singapore and three other countries.
