Korea Herald, Asia Society Korea Center to hold forum

The Korea Herald and the Asia Society Korea Center will jointly hold a monthly forum from September.

Luncheon lectures have been hosted by the Asia Society’s Korea office since June 2008 on the third Tuesday of every month, dealing with major current issues as topics. Speakers have been invited from businesses, the government and the foreign diplomatic corps in Korea.
Under the agreement, The Korea Herald will report on the forum and also cooperate with the center regarding the selection and recommendation of speakers.
The center will use the logo of Herald Corp. and the title of the newspaper on its promotional pamphlets, letters of invitation and related documents.
The agreement will take effect from September.
Asia Society is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting mutual understanding and strengthening partnerships among peoples, leaders and institutions of Asia and the United States in a global context.
Across the fields of arts, business, culture, education, and policy, the society provides insight, generates ideas and promotes collaboration.
Founded in 1956 by John D. Rockefeller III, it has headquarters in New York.
