Rumors have surfaced about Wonder Girls’ leader Sun-ye’s supposed October wedding. “Woman Sense” magazine revealed this shocking announcement in their October issue claiming that Sun-ye was to marry her significant other, a Korean-Canadian missionary, whom she met on a missionary trip in Haiti.

Sun-ye has however denied all the marriage rumors via her Twitter page posting, “I want to once again state that the rumors about a next month wedding are false.” A representative from Wonder Girls’ agency JYP Entertainment has also denied any knowledge about the two’s marriage plans and said to OSEN, an online news outlet, on Saturday that, “The rumors on the wedding are not true. Currently, there are no plans at all regarding getting married. She is concentrating on the Asia Tour.”

At the “Wonder Girls Interview” that was held earlier this year, the singer commented about her relationship stating, “We are in a happy relationship. He is giving me help not only in music but in life overall.”

원더걸스 선예, "결혼소식은... "


원더걸스 리더 선예(23)가 최근 떠들썩하게 했던 자신의 결혼설에 대해 직접 입을 열었다.

선예는 21일 밤 자신의 트위터에 “오보로 공개된 저의 다음달 결혼소식은 사실이 아님을 다시 한 번 알려드립니다. 많은 분들이 저의 공개연애에 대해 좋은말씀들로 축복해 주고 계심을 잘 알고 있습니다^^ ” 라며 사실이 아님을 공개적으로 해명했다.

이어 “제가 첫 연애공개를 했을 때 말씀드렸던 것과 같이 제 인생에 있어서 여러분과 나누어야 하는 부분이라고 생각되는 일들에 대해선 가장 적합한 때라고 생각할 때 꼭 나누도록 하겠습니다^^”며 “응원해 주셔서 감사합니다! 평안한 밤 되셔요^^”라고 글을 올렸다.

앞서 소속사 JYP엔터테인먼트 역시 선예의 결혼설은 사실이 아니라며 현재 결혼 계획은 없다고 확인한 바 있다.
