A website run by North Korea has recently uploaded a parody video of Psy’s “Gangnam Style” with intention of belittling South Korean ruling party’s presidential candidate Park Geun-hye, according to a news report.

The video on a pro-North Korea website modified Psy’s internationally popular video to put Park’s face on Psy’s body.

The parodied song aims to criticize Park for her recent remarks, such as her apparent defense of her father and former dictator Park Chung-hee’s military coup.

Lyrics of the song include “Do not denounce May 16 coup/ Making me a princess was the best choice/I’m Yushin style.”

"Yushin" was the constitution enacted by Park Chung-hee which abolished direct popular election of the president and had him re-elected for a six-year term in a vote by a rubber-stamp electoral college.

The website had fiercely criticized Park for her refusal to recognize his father’s error in the infamous “Inhyeokdang” incident in 1975, where eight activists were executed on charge of treason. It was later revealed that the executed activists were innocent.

“Her recent comment indicates she is ignorant about history, and is an unacceptable insult on slaughtered democratic fighters and their families,” the website claimed.

북한, 강남스타일로 박근혜 비난


북한이 대선을 석 달 앞둔 시점에서 박근혜 새누리당 대통령 후보에 대한 비난공세를 강화하고 있다.

북한 매체의 박 후보 비난글은 지난달까지만 해도 대개 하루 1∼2건 정도에 불과했지만, 이달 들어서는 많게는 하루 6∼8건이나 된다.

주로 남한언론의 비판성 기사를 소개하는 정도에 그쳤던 비난글의 내용도 최근에는 `유신 공주‘ 등 노골적인 표현들이 담기기 시작했다.

북한 대남선전용 웹사이트인 우리민족끼리는 최근 홈페이지 `TV코너’에 세계적으로 인기를 끌고 있는 가수 싸이의 `강남스타일‘을 패러디한 동영상을 게시해 박 후보를 비난했다.

이 영상의 첫 화면에는 `말춤’을 추는 싸이의 몸에 박 후보 얼굴을 합성한 사진 과 박 후보 이름을 뜻하는 `ㅂㄱㅎ 지음‘이라는 문구가 나온다.

이어 “5•16쿠데타를 욕하지마/ 날 공주로 만들어준 최선의 선택이었잖아” “수 없이 죽어간 눈도 감지 못한 영혼들/ 이유가 있었다구/ 두 가지 판결이 있잖아” “난 유신스타일이다” 등의 노랫말이 등장한다.

이 매체는 지난 18일에도 `인혁당 사건’과 관련한 박 후보 태도에 대해 “그의 이번 언사는 역사에 대한 무지인 동시에 유신독재체제에 의해 무참히 탄압당하고 학살당한 민주인사들과 그 가족들에 대한 참을 수 없는 모독”이라며 비난했다.

북한은 박 후보의 `북한 핵포기‘ 발언도 집중적인 공격 포인트로 삼고 있다.

노동당 기관지 노동신문은 18일 “박근혜가 우리에 대한 대결자세를 드러내기 시작했다”며 “박근혜의 망발은 이명박 패당의 실패한 대북정책을 고스란히 넘겨받겠다 는 의사표시로 대결적 입장으로 집권야망을 실현하려는 속심을 스스로 드러내놓은 것”이라고 주장했다.

박 후보는 최근 남북 협력에 대해 “북한이 핵을 포기하고 국민과 경제로 치중하 는 변화를 모색한다면 남북관계 발전에 희망이 있다고 생각한다”고 밝힌 바 있다.

북한은 예전에도 남한의 주요선거가 다가올 때마다 보수성향 여당후보를 집중 비난하며 사실상의 특정후보 `낙선운동’을 벌여왔다.
