An International Women’s Day celebration in Seoul is set to focus on women in the sciences.

The event at Seoul Women’s Plaza on March 8 is themed “Connecting girls, inspiring futures.”

Seoul International Women’s Association is organizing the celebration of women’s achievements in the sciences, engineering and technology.

The event is open to everyone, and will run from 6-9 p.m. and costs 30,000 won, or 15,000 won for students.

International Women’s Day is celebrated on March 8 every year, with thousands of events held throughout the world to inspire women and celebrate their achievements.
