Seoul Global Center will open a new branch Thursday in Seoul’s business district to help foreigners with startups and investments here, officials said Wednesday.

According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government, the Yeouido Global Business Center will open its doors to counsel foreigners on opening small businesses and finding investment opportunities.

Located within the newly opened Seoul International Finance Center, the center will also be able to help foreigners with administrative work outside of business, including registration with immigration services.

The center will offer services in both Chinese and English. The center also provides a space for startups, dubbed incubation offices, to help foreigners get their businesses on their feet.

There are 9,472 foreign-invested companies in Seoul, of which 2,204 are located in southwest Seoul, including in the Yeongdeungpo and Mapo districts.
