The government plans to run a recruitment drive for Korean posts at United Nations agencies and other international institutions this Friday at Korea University in Seoul, the Finance Ministry said Wednesday.

Finance Ministry and Foreign Ministry officials will explain the work and personnel policies of UN agencies, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and others. The job fair will take place in the afternoon from 1:30 p.m. onwards.

“Koreans currently working at those agencies will be there to give first-hand accounts of what it is like to work at international institutions. It will be a rare opportunity for those interested in world class jobs,” a Finance Ministry spokesperson said. There will be a Q&A session following the presentations and tips on how to land jobs at international institutions. Those willing to participate at the event need to register at http://dis.korea.ac.kr.
