The police detained a man who allegedly murdered a 68-year-old security guard after having an argument over parking earlier this month, according to reports.
The offender, surnamed Choi was too drunk to drive and had to have a chauffeur service to drive back to his apartment in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province. Upon arrival, Choi asked the driver to park his vehicle in front of a neighbor’s car.
When a security guard asked him to relocate his automobile, Choi, 34, punched and kicked him. Although the victim was taken to a hospital, he was declared dead on Monday, 12 days after the incident.
The police will seek arrest warrant against Choi after finishing the investigation.

경찰 조사결과 최씨는 당시 술에 취해 함께 타고 온 대리 운전기사에게 다른 주민의 차 앞에 주차하게 했으며 이를 본 A씨가 다른 곳에 주차하라고 하자 홧김에 A씨를 폭행한 것으로 밝혀졌다.
A씨는 최씨에게 맞은 뒤 쓰려져 병원으로 옮겨져 치료를 받다가 12일 만인 지난 22일 오전 숨졌다.
경찰은 조사가 마무리되는 대로 최씨에 대해 구속영장을 신청할 방침이다.
