Daewoo Securities said on Monday it has launched an English-language online home trading system targeting foreign investors interested in the Korean stock market.

The new trading software named “Qway ENG” allows foreign investors to handle trades of Korean stocks, KOSPI200 futures and options, aided by simple and elegant interfaces.

“The English-language trading platform is developed on the basis of the existing ‘Qway NEO’ which received a design award from the government,” said Shin Yoon-keun, head of multi-channel division at Daewoo Securities. “The company will continue to provide financial investments to foreign residents in Korea, whose number has exceeded 1 million.”

The company also offers authentication service, also in English, along with the new HTS. The program can be downloaded at the firm’s homepage (www.bestez.com). For further information, call its support center at (02) 500-0622 or email inquiry@dwsec.com.
