A 12-year-old girl killed herself in to donate her organs to her father and brother, but she was cremated before her family discovered her intentions.

Mumpy Sarkar, from West Bengal of India, drank pesticides in order to share her kidney to brother and eyes to father.

Soon after consuming poison, she ran to her father and explained that someone forced her to do so. Although her father, Mridul Sarkar, took her to a pharmacy and tried to save her life, Mumpy eventually died.

Unfortunately, her will was found after the body was cremated.

Mumpy’s family had been suffering from poverty. Her father was on the verge of losing his eyesight, while the brother’s life was at risk due to a stone in his kidney.

Meanwhile, her sacrifice was not entirely in vain, as the local state council representative promised financial help for the family’s treatment.
