Rights and globalization lecture in Seoul

A British expert is to give a talk in Korea on human rights.

Dr. Darren O’Byrne is to give the lecture on “Human Rights in the Age of Globalization” at the British Council in Seoul on Monday.

The principal lecturer in Sociology and Human Rights at Roehampton University, London, O’Byrne has authored core texts on human rights from a social science perspective. He often speaks on human rights issues for Amnesty International and as a keynote speaker at global events.

He will give his talk from 6:30 - 8 p.m. at the British Council on the fourth floor of the Hungkuk Life Insurance Building, 226 Shinmunno 1-ga, Jongno-gu, Seoul 110-786.

To get there go to Gwanghwamun Subway Station exit 6 and walk 5 minutes in the direction of Seodaemun.
