Celebrating its 22nd anniversary this year, Imperial Palace Hotel in southern Seoul aims to be an artistic and cultural space where its visitors can enjoy both convenient, up-to-date IT facilities and high-class services.

With more than 400 suites as well as 13 restaurants and bars, it serves as a convenient business hotel in its European inspired, antique and elegant atmosphere.

Every suite of the hotel has a 42-inch PDP or LCD TV, along with high speed wireless Internet.

The property recently renovated its suites located between the fifth and ninth floors, setting iPhone stations in all of the rooms.

Club Imperial, the property’s executive floor lounge, is located on the 20th floor of the hotel. It is an exclusive club lounge only for VIPs and club members staying between the 18th and 23rd floors.

It is decorated in traditional Korean style, and serves superior traditional Korean cuisine.

The property’s convention center has seven halls of different sizes, which are suitable for all kinds of events -- including weddings, academic seminars, family celebrations and international festivals.

Its “Debhe” hall, in particular, can house up to 1,000 people, decorated in elegant Baroque style while offering the latest sound facilities. It is suitable for international seminars and conferences.

Meanwhile, its “Selena” hall, which is capable of housing up to 500 people, is decorated in graceful white which perfectly compliments weddings. The hall offers a separate room for Pyebaek, a traditional Korean wedding custom, and for the bride.

The property also operates superior quality restaurants, including Chinese, Italian, Japanese and a pastry shop.

To improve its quality of service for every guest, the hotel has been running a special training program for its employees since 1996. To serve each guest better, the property has launched its own series of services including its free valet parking service for female guests and a member of staff to personally escort guests to their rooms.

Imperial Palace Hotel, a domestically capitalized global hotel brand, opened IP Hotel Fukuoka in Japan in 2007 and Imperial Palace Waterpark Resort & Spa in Cebu, Philippines in 2009.

The IP Boutique Hotel, which is a 12-story building with 142 suites, was also opened in Itaewon last March. It was selected as one of the must-visit hot spots by the New York Times in November.
