Woman dies of heart attack -- at her funeral

A Russian woman who was wrongly declared dead by doctors died of heart attack at her own funeral.

Fagilyu Mukhametzyanov, 49, started screaming upon finding out that she was in a coffin while the bereaved prepared burial. She had collapsed after suffering a heart attack at home earlier.

“Her eyes fluttered and we immediately rushed her back to the hospital,” said Fagili Mukhametzyanov, her husband. However, she survived for only another 12 minutes in intensive care.

The hospital official announced that they had opened investigation concerning the incident.

“I am very angry and want answers. She wasn’t dead when they said she was and they could have saved her,” the husband told reporters.
He said is planning on suing the hospital.
