The White Stripes’ Jack White and British fashion model and singer Karen Elson ended their 6 year marriage by throwing a party.
The couple sent e-mails out to their family and friends announcing the news. On the invitation they wrote they cherish their marriage and wish luck to each other.
The celebrities said that they still trust each other and will still remain as good friends.
White first met Elson during his music video shoot and on May 2005, the two held an exotic wedding on a canoe in the Amazon River.
They plan on raising their two kids Scarlet, 5, and Henry, 3, together.
